Well, since I live in Japan (Miyagi Prefecture) this has been a big deal here. It had had an effect on almost all areas of my life...including BJJ. My club was closed for close to a month. Things are starting to get back to normal now. But one thing that has struck me is how different this event (earthquake, tsunami and nuclear issue) was covered in the foreign press. I hope these media outlets put as much effort into covering the rebuilding and recovery effort as they have into sensationalizing an alredy horrific event. Not holding my breath though.
I've been doing some volunteer clean-up work when I have free time. I'll try to add some pictures and video if I can.

Wow - I can't even imagine what it must have been like, being over there when that happened. I'm glad to hear you are OK though. Thank you for sharing with us, and I truly hope that things can get back to normal for those affected by the disaster...at least as close to normal as can be.
