| I am looking for a new gi and I would like the advice of the fine people of bjj canada. I would like my next gi to be lightweight (dropping a weight category and may need some help making weight), Durable, and Good looking. So if anybody has some ideas let me know. | |

| Hey dude, Sounds like you are in the same boat as me. I wanted a lighter gi so that it would be easier for me to 'make weight.' I ended up buying the Zero G by Tatami. I will have to give a full review later after I've rolled in it a bit more (and I will comment on its durability). But for now I can tell you that the gi is very light, very comfortable to wear, low in price and it looks good (not dull but not too flashy either). I just finished my first roll in it just now. I immediately felt at home in the gi. Almost like I was rolling in my pajamas. I am already very happy I bought it. Hell, I am considering buy one of the black models (since I went with white and it already has some nice blood stains on it). Seriously, the only thing I am worried about with this gi is durability. In all other categories it gets a 5/5 from me so far. Zero G black: http://www.btfightgear.com/cgi-bin/item.cgi?item_id=ttm%2d002Zero G white: http://www.btfightgear.com/cgi-bin/item.cgi?item_id=ttm%2d001Added bonus...comes with a carry bag. Good luck with your gi shopping and let me know what you end up going with. Cheers | |

| So I ended up not getting a lite gi but I got a keiko gold weave in white with red accents (appropriate for bjj canada). The deal was 2 good to pass. Will post review after using it. | |
